Businessman Min Bahadur Gurung Claims Nepal Can Achieve High Economic Status in 15 Years with Labor Respect

Kathmandu. Businessman Min Bahadur Gurung stated that Nepal can reach a high level of economic development within 15 years.

Businessman Gurung emphasized the need to develop a culture of respecting labor in Nepal.

'There is no respect for labor, and until labor is respected, the country will not progress,' he said, 'Let's respect the workers who work, and businessmen must also fulfill their duties honestly.'

Businessman Gurung stated that if workers are respected and businessmen show honesty, Nepal can achieve high economic progress among the world's nations in 15 years.

'Nepal can reach the highest level in the world in 15 years,' Gurung said, 'An attack has been made on an honest and conscientious businessman like me. I don't know why. We have provided employment to thousands.'

He mentioned that he will not take his wealth with him when he leaves, stating he will leave his capital for the general public.

He expressed sorrow over the damage caused during the Gen-G movement and wished that such incidents would not happen in the future. Gurung also stated that he would not let the country deteriorate.

There is a plan to bring the Bhatbhateni Supermarket located in Maharajgunj into operation before the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21. However, the damaged supermarket from the Gen-G movement has already been repaired. The Maharajgunj branch, which is about to start operation, is the third among the 12 Bhatbhateni outlets damaged in the movement.
