CPN-UML Candidate Prem Bahadur Ale Pledges Major Infrastructure and Health Upgrades in Kailali

Kathmandu. Prem Bahadur Ale, the candidate representing the CPN-UML in Kailali Constituency No. 5, has committed to developing Dhangadhi as a cricket hub by constructing an international-standard cricket stadium at Phapla.

Ale also pledged to expand the runway of Dhangadhi Airport to 2500 meters. His commitments also included the swift operation of the Martyr Dasharath Chand Health Science University, starting MBBS studies, and upgrading its hospital to 300 to 600 beds. He stated that arrangements would be made to operate specialized services from Seti Provincial Hospital under the federal government.

Furthermore, he is committed to taking initiative to expedite the completion of the trilateral road connecting Nepal-India-China, running from Mohana, Khutiya, Dipayal, to Chainpur in Bajhang, and further to Urai Pass. His plan also involves solving the flooding problem in the Dhangadhi area by constructing long-term embankments to secure arable land and settlements along the banks of the Mohana, Khutiya, Ghurahi, Guraha, and Shivaganga rivers.

It was stated that the Botanical Garden in Dhangadhi Ward No. 7 and Jakhor Lake would be developed as religious and tourist sites. A commitment was also made to initiate efforts to relocate the Nepal Oil Corporation depot in Chatakpur, Dhangadhi, to a safer location due to the high risk it poses to human settlements.
