Western Winds Partially Affecting Nepal, Fog Expected in Terai Regions

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that Nepal is currently under the partial influence of the Western Disturbance. This influence has caused partial cloud cover in the Koshi and Gandaki provinces, as well as in the remaining Himalayan regions. Haze has been observed in a few places in the Terai region.

This afternoon, fog and mist will persist in some parts of the Terai region. Generally cloudy conditions will prevail in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with partial cloud cover expected in the remaining hilly and Himalayan areas. The weather in the rest of the country will be mostly clear.

There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Tonight, haze will remain in a few places in the Terai region. Partial cloud cover is expected in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the weather in the remaining areas will be mostly clear, according to the department.
