CPN-UML Vice Chairman Vishnu Poudel Unveils Election Manifesto for Rupandehi-2

Butwal. CPN-UML Vice Chairman and candidate for Rupandehi Constituency No. 2, Bishnu Prasad Poudel, has publicly released his election commitment paper.

Poudel, who has been continuously winning from this constituency since 2064 BS, unveiled the commitment paper prepared by incorporating 20 sectors for the development of the area at a press conference today. The commitment paper, released under the slogan 'Strong Economic Center, Shared Flower Garden, Prosperous Rupandehi - Our Responsibility,' emphasizes education, health, employment and income generation growth, national highways, bridges, and the local road network in Rupandehi.

He has mentioned plans in the commitment paper to continue ongoing projects and add some new ones. The plan also includes completing the ongoing Jhussa Drinking Water Project and surveying the land of squatters and residents without fixed locations to distribute land ownership certificates (Lalpurja) to the landowners.

Poudel has announced plans to make structural leaps in the areas of physical infrastructure, industrial investment, tourism, and urban development in Rupandehi. The commitment paper mentions establishing the Motipur Industrial Area by re-mapping and reducing its size if necessary, bringing the Butwal Textile Factory into operation with modern technology under a public-private partnership model, and expanding the capacity of the Butwal Industrial Area.

Similarly, special emphasis has been placed on the completion of the Tinau Signature Bridge, Tinau-Danav Corridor, and Butwal Drinking Water Project, while a plan to advance the process of the Kali Gandaki-Tinau Diversion has also been included in the paper.
