Nepali Congress to Hold Major Election Rally in Kathmandu on February 17

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress is set to hold an election rally in Kathmandu on February 17 (Falgun 17). Congress Spokesperson Devraj Chalise informed that party President Gagan Thapa, Vice President and Election Mobilization Committee Coordinator Bishwa Prakash Sharma, and other office bearers will address the rally.

In preparation for this rally, Spokesperson Chalise, central committee members representing the Kathmandu Valley, and district leadership held discussions on Friday at the party's central office in Sanepa.

The Congress began its election rally series on February 6 (Falgun 6) with a Madhes assembly in Tirahutiya, Janakpur. On February 7 (Falgun 7), the party held an interaction program in Kathmandu's National Assembly Hall titled 'Our Pledge, Your Question' with President Thapa.

Spokesperson Chalise informed Ratopati that preparations are underway to organize large election programs in other provinces as well, and the locations and dates for these events will be finalized on Saturday.
