Passenger Bus Crashes Near Power House in Rautahat, No Serious Injuries Reported

Rautahat. A passenger bus met with an accident today near the Power House in Gaur Municipality, Rautahat. The bus, bearing license plate Na 8 Kha 8763, was traveling from Gaur towards Chandrapur Municipality when it lost control and struck an electricity pole on the roadside.

The front section of the bus sustained damage in the accident, and the electricity pole has fallen. All passengers aboard the bus are reported to be safe. It is stated that some passengers sustained minor injuries.

Following the incident, local residents and a team from the Nepal Police were deployed for rescue operations. Electricity supply was immediately cut off to prevent further damage due to the risk of electric wires falling onto the bus.

Initially, it is suspected that the bus lost control due to excessive speed. Police stated that detailed information about the incident is yet to come and further investigation is underway.
