Progressive Democratic Party Lumbini Province Vows Unity for Upcoming Elections

Kathmandu. The Progressive Democratic Party (PrLoPa) Lumbini Province has decided to move forward unitedly to ensure the victory of its candidates in the upcoming elections.

Issuing a press release on Thursday, PrLoPa Lumbini Province announced the decision to move forward unitedly to ensure the victory of its candidates.

During the meeting of the PrLoPa Lumbini Province Council (Office) held on Wednesday, a brief reporting session from all districts took place regarding ensuring the victory of direct candidates and campaigning for proportional votes.

In-charge Narayani Sharma (Pratikshya) stated that the entire party decided to unite to ensure the victory of direct candidates and focus on campaigning for proportional votes.

Pankaj Rai, a member of the PrLoPa Lumbini Province Council, has been removed from his post for causing chaos in the party and engaging in activities contrary to the party's interests. The press release mentioned that he was removed from his responsibility as In-charge for Rupandehi.

He has been suspended from the Province Council and recommended for action until further notice. The issued press release also mentioned the decision to temporarily assign the responsibility of Rupandehi District In-charge to the Provincial Office.

The House of Representatives election is scheduled for this coming Falgun 21.
