Rastriya Swatantra Party Unveils Election Manifesto in Karnali, Pledging Policy Reforms

Surkhet. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) unveiled its election manifesto on Thursday in Birendranagar, the capital of Karnali Province, encompassing '100 Pillars for Policy Departure for Transformation'.

'We Have Come' During the change declaration assembly, the manifesto was made public. Why did the RSP choose to unveil its manifesto in Karnali? RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane explained the reason.

'When I came to Karnali as a journalist, reporting and searching for news, I had the opportunity to leave behind a hospital in Kalikot, not just words or news,' he said.

He recalled that the bond formed there has remained strong to this day. 'Based on that bond, I assert with some right that there is a meaning behind unveiling the manifesto from Karnali,' he stated. 'That is, a major link in unveiling today's manifesto is the promise not to let Karnali, which has been left behind, be left behind anymore.'

He also stated that he would face punishment if he failed to fulfill that promise. 'Therefore, we have entered into a contract with the citizens,' he said. 'Therefore, I want to make an offer from Karnali—come through the road or come through the vote. We want change through votes. We do not want to shed a single drop of blood.'

Lamichhane recalled that the laps of many mothers in Karnali have become empty, the vermilion of many sisters has been wiped off, and many children have been orphaned. And he said—Karnali will not tolerate that anymore.
