Bollywood Comedian Rajpal Yadav Appeals for Work After Release on Interim Bail in Cheque Bounce Case

Mumbai. Bollywood's famous comedian Rajpal Yadav, who was released from jail after receiving 30 days of interim bail in a cheque bounce case, has appealed to the film industry for work. After receiving relief from the Delhi High Court, he urged filmmakers to support him once again by giving him a good role.

Speaking to the media immediately after coming out of jail, he stated that he appreciates the love given by the audience in his film journey and now wants to move forward in a new way. Rajpal expressed that he needs good roles in the industry and is confident that those who supported him in the past will hold his hand again.

He clarified his hunger for work, stating that he is ready to accept whatever remuneration producers and directors set for the job. Thanking both those who supported him and those who criticized him on social media, he mentioned that he reached this point due to everyone's blessings.

The beginning of his crisis started in 2010 when he took a loan of 5 crore Indian Rupees to make the film 'Ata Pata Laapata'. After the film flopped, he fell into financial trouble and could not repay the loan on time.

A complaint was filed against him after the cheques he issued while taking the loan bounced. In 2018, the court found him guilty and sentenced him to six months in jail.

Although several attempts at settlement were made in between, as payment could not be made, he surrendered on February 5.
