Indian Prime Minister Modi Meets Google CEO Sundar Pichai to Discuss AI Collaboration

New Delhi. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a special meeting with Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and its parent company Alphabet Inc., on Wednesday.

Modi discussed India's work in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and future collaboration with Pichai, who was in New Delhi to participate in the India AI Impact Summit being held at Bharat Mandapam. Specifically, a serious dialogue took place between the two regarding how Google can assist Indian students and professional manpower in the field of AI and how to move forward in partnership with them.

After the meeting, Prime Minister Modi shared on the social media platform 'X' that the meeting with Pichai was fruitful. He mentioned that India is rapidly advancing in the field of AI and expressed confidence that Google can make a significant contribution to technological development by partnering with the talented youth here.

The AI summit and exhibition organized in Delhi aims to establish India as a technology hub, where Pichai's presence is viewed with special significance. Google has also put forward plans to make the Indian market and its workforce a major part of its AI development.
