Arniko Highway Reopens After Fatal Tipper Accident in Banepa

Kathmandu. The Arniko Highway, which was obstructed following a scooter rider's death after being hit by a tipper in Banepa, Kavre, has reopened. The deceased was identified as 31-year-old Oman Pradhan, a resident of Banepa who hailed from Dhulikhel Municipality-8.

Following the accident, locals set the tipper with registration number Bagmati Province-01-004 Ka 3423 on fire and obstructed the highway. Police have extinguished the fire that was set on the tipper. Police stated that the situation is currently normalizing.
