Indian worker falls to death from roof of an under construction building

Surunga, Jhapa– An Indian worker died after falling off a roof of an under construction building on Thursday here in Jhapa. 

The deceased has been identified as 34 – year – old Sonardin Ansari of Bengal in India, according to the District Police Office, Jhapa. 

Ansari fell down from the fourth storey of an under construction building belonging to Gopi Prasai at Buttabari of Birtamode municipality – 6. He died while being rushed to the Man Mohan Hospital at Birtamode for treatment, police said. 

Meanwhile, 21 – year – old Anuja Magar was injured due to an electric shock at Shantitole of Mechinagar municipality – 10. Magar was jolted by the electric current which leaked from a water drawing motor. He is receiving treatment for serious injuries at Birta City Hospital in Birtamode.
