Muslim Commission submits report to President Paudel
Kathmandu, October 7 — The Muslim Commission today presented its annual report for the fiscal year 2080-81 BS (2023-24) to President Ramchandra Paudel.
Commission Chair Samim Miya submitted the report to the head of the state amidst a ceremony in the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.
On the occasion, the President said the role and responsibilities of the Commission are significant as it was established to implement the State's policy to conserve and promote identities, languages, scripts, culture, literature, art, and heritages of various castes and communities based on the principles of equality and co-existence.
He also expressed his hope that the government will pay heed to address the issues highlighted by the Commission in the report.
