Nepali Congress Finalizes Preparations for Manifesto Launch in Janakpurdham

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has announced that preparations are complete for the mass gathering where the party's manifesto for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 will be unveiled.

Nepali Congress Madhesh Province President Krishna Prasad Yadav informed reporters on Tuesday that preparations are complete for the gathering to be held on Wednesday at Tirhutia Gachhi in Janakpurdham.

Addressing the press conference, Yadav, who is also the Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, stated that more than a hundred thousand leaders and cadres from eight districts of the province would participate in the gathering.

The event, where central office bearers including President Gagan Thapa will address the gathering, is also the Congress's first election rally.

'We have aimed to ensure the participation of at least one lakh people by activating the organizational structures of eight districts in the province,' Yadav said at the press conference, 'This gathering will not only be a demonstration of Congress's strength in Madhesh but will also be a historic program to lay the foundation for the upcoming elections.'

Yadav further informed that the manifesto to be unveiled at the gathering will prioritize agendas concerning Madhesh's development, employment, agricultural modernization, education-health reform, infrastructure expansion, and good governance.
