Four Arrested in Kathmandu for Possession of Stolen Scooters

Kathmandu. Four individuals have been taken into custody by the police in various locations across the Kathmandu Valley for possessing stolen scooters. According to the District Police Range, Kathmandu, they were apprehended with stolen vehicles from the Kirtipur and Budhanilkantha areas.

On Falgun 2, a team from the Tangalaphat Police Post arrested 24-year-old Santosh Bista and 22-year-old Dharmendra Khadayat from Gurung Tole, Kirtipur Municipality-10, along with an NTorq scooter bearing registration number Bagmati Pradesh 02-018 Pa 7936. The Kirtipur Police Circle is conducting further investigation into the two, who are originally from Kanchanpur but currently residing in Shantinagar.

Similarly, on Falgun 4, two more individuals were arrested by the Budhanilkantha Police Post during a routine check in the Basik area of Budhanilkantha Municipality-2. Robin Pariyar, 18, and Nirmal Pariyar, 28, were apprehended with a Dio scooter, registration number Ba 64 Pa 3755, which was reported stolen from the Thimi area of Bhaktapur.

The police have initiated necessary legal action after taking the two, who are originally from Udayapur but currently residing in Kopan, into custody.
