Five Killed in Separate Road Accidents Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Five people have died in separate road accidents in various parts of the country. Those who lost their lives in these accidents, which occurred on Monday and Tuesday in Mahottari, Chitwan, Rupandehi, and Nawalparasi West, included pedestrians as well as motorcycle and scooter riders.

In Mahottari's Gaushala Municipality-3, Navrajpur Bagaincha, 70-year-old Ram Bilash Mahato died when a car and a motorcycle collided. He passed away while undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur.

Meanwhile, in Chitwan's Kalika Municipality-7, Belchaur, 38-year-old scooter rider Prakash Malla Thakuri died after being hit by an auto-rickshaw, and in Bharatpur's Tehrsaal Chowk, 33-year-old Shambhu Pokhrel lost his life when his scooter went out of control and crashed.

Similarly, in Rupandehi's Siddharthnagar Municipality-8, Htijipath, 26-year-old Aman Dhawal died while undergoing treatment at Bhairahawa Medical College after his motorcycle went out of control and crashed.

Furthermore, in Nawalparasi West's Bardaghat Municipality-5, Sakhwani Chowk, 62-year-old pedestrian Arjun Bahadur Tharu, who was seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle, died on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment at Devdaha Medical College.

Police are conducting necessary investigations into all these accidents and have taken the drivers of the colliding vehicles into custody.
