Help Desks Established for Pilgrims During Mithila Madhyama Parikrama

Janakpurdham. Similar to previous years, Cloth Bank Nepal and the Nepal-India Open Border Dialogue Group have operated a help desk this year for the service of Sadhus-Saints, Mahants, devotees, and pilgrims arriving from Nepal and India during the occasion of the Mithila Madhyama Parikrama, famously known as the Human Mahakund.

Basic facilities such as free health camps, pure drinking water, first aid, and medicine distribution have been provided through this help desk. According to the organizers, more than a thousand service recipients have directly benefited so far. It has been stated that the camps will operate at all resting places along the Parikrama route falling on the Nepali side.

The camp was attended by the Speaker of Madhesh Province, Ram Ashish Yadav, and RSP candidate from Dhanusha Constituency-3, Manish Jha, along with various social, political, and intellectual personalities. The organizers stated that their presence boosted the morale of the organization's officials and volunteers.

Similarly, Dr. Ajay Mishra, SiAheb Dayakanta Jha, Dilip Mishra, Cloth Bank Nepal Chairman Rajiv Jha, Secretary Manish Shriom, Treasurer Rubi Jha, Dhaneshwar Thakur, Krishna Kumar Sah, RSP leader Jitendra Mahaseth, Ambu Prasad Sah, Nandkumar Jha, intellectual Radharaman Jha, Indresh Jha, among others, actively participated in the camp.

Devotees arriving from Nepal and India expressed the view that the easy movement across the open border has further strengthened religious faith, cultural unity, and historical relations. The Mithila Madhyama Parikrama is not just a religious ritual but a living symbol of shared civilization, tradition, and intimate relations between Nepal and India.
