Partial Influence of Western Winds Affects Weather Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Currently, there is a partial influence of the western wind system over Nepal.

According to the Department of Meteorology Forecasting, the sky is generally cloudy in Gandaki Province, with partial cloud cover in the hilly and Himalayan regions of the country, while the weather remains mostly clear in the remaining areas. Light rain or snowfall is occurring in a few places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki Province.

On Monday, fog/mist will persist in some parts of the Terai region until noon. There will be partial cloud cover in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and the weather will remain mostly clear in the rest of the areas.
