50% Completion Achieved in Ring Road Expansion Section from Narayan Gopal Chowk to Chappal Factory

Kathmandu. Fifty percent of the expansion work on the section from Narayan Gopal Chowk to Chappal Factory under the Ring Road expansion has been completed. Although it was planned to be built with the grant assistance of the Chinese government, the Nepal government initiated the expansion of this section with its own investment after delays occurred in the Kalanki–Basundhara section.

A budget of 250 million rupees has been allocated for this in the current fiscal year. Accordingly, work has proceeded by awarding a contract for a distance of seven hundred meters.

The plan is to expand from Maharajgunj to Dhobikhola (Gopikrishna Bridge), and in the first phase, 700 meters will be paved according to the available budget.
