Naga Babas Enter Pashupatinath Temple Premises for Maha Shivaratri Festivities

Kathmandu. Naga Babas who arrived in Kathmandu for Maha Shivaratri have entered the Pashupatinath temple premises. Naga Babas arriving from various places entered the Pashupatinath temple premises along with their processions.

They entered through the entrance gate number 1 of the Pashupatinath temple after performing a morning procession. Among the four sects of ascetics—Sanyasi, Vaishnav, Nanak, and Udasi—the Naga are categorized under Sanyasi. Ascetics from all four sects visit Pashupati.
