Nepali Congress VP Sharma Urges Cadres to Focus on Agenda, Not Attacking Rivals in Elections

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has urged leaders and cadres to enter the electoral arena without insulting the opposition. Speaking at a party member meet-up focused on elections organized in Rupandehi on Thursday, Vice President Sharma urged leaders and cadres to engage in the electoral field based on the agenda put forth by the Congress, rather than creating enmity or insulting the opposition in the name of competition.

Sharma stated that the Congress, which has come forward to establish good governance, control corruption, and enact necessary laws in Nepal, must be established as the leading party to lead the country. Sharma claimed that the work previously done by the Congress is sufficient to win the election.

He added that while going into the elections with a new mindset, they must be able to convey the message of political transformation.
