Nepali Congress Leader Muktisinh Rai Joins Rastriya Swatantra Party in Sankhuwasabha

Sankhuwasabha. Nepali Congress Sankhuwasabha General Convention Member Muktisinh Rai has joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). RSP Sankhuwasabha Chairman Bhaktanarayan Shrestha stated that Rai joined the party on Thursday at the party's central office in Kathmandu.

According to him, Rai joined the party following the special initiative of RSP candidate Mingma Sherpa.

Candidate Sherpa was also a Nepali Congress General Convention Member. Along with him, Sunil Shrestha, Chairman of the CPN-UML affiliated National Sports Federation, also joined the RSP. Furthermore, a district member of the Youth Association and a district member of the Tarun Dal also joined the RSP today.

Both Rai and Shrestha reached Kathmandu by helicopter after their Kathmandu flight from Tumlingtar was canceled due to bad weather.
