Western Disturbance Partially Affecting Nepal's Weather, Forecast Indicates

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that a western disturbance is currently having a partial impact across Nepal. Due to this influence, the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces are generally cloudy, while the weather in the remaining areas is mostly clear.

This afternoon, fog and mist will persist in some parts of the Terai region until noon. The hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province will generally be cloudy. Partial cloud cover will be present in the remaining hilly and Himalayan regions, and the weather in the Terai region will remain mostly clear.

There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province, as well as in one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, haze will be present in a few locations in the Terai region. Partial cloud cover will be observed in Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the weather in the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.
