Woman Elopes With Tantrik After Seeking Astrological Consultation in Indore, India

A case has come to light where a woman, who approached an astrologer (tantrik) due to marital discord, subsequently absconded with him.

This incident occurred in Indore, Madhya Pradesh state, India. The woman, a resident of the Banganga police station area, was reportedly not on good terms with her husband.

She had approached an astrologer named Rakesh Jatav with her problems, intending to have her fortune told. It is reported that during the course of a ritual (puja-path) as advised by the tantrik, the two developed a close relationship.

It was found that the woman, who was experiencing domestic tension, decided to leave her husband and live with the tantrik after a few days of closeness with him.

After the woman suddenly disappeared from home, her family filed a complaint with the police. According to police sources, when they investigated after learning about the woman's relationship with the tantrik, it was discovered that both had fled.

The police stated that during the search, the woman's last known location was traced to the city of Bhopal. Subsequently, a police team reached Bhopal and located and apprehended both the woman and the tantrik.

Police stated that both have been brought back to Indore and are being questioned. According to police officer Rubina Mijbani, further investigation is underway based on the complaint filed by the woman's husband and other family members.
