Candidates Campaign Intensively in Taplejung as House of Representatives Election Nears

Taplejung. As the date for the House of Representatives election approaches, candidates here are busy with door-to-door campaigning. Thirteen candidates are in the electoral contest here.

Candidates from 13 parties, including Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), have become active in their door-to-door campaigns.

Gajendra Prasad Tumyaahang of the Congress, Kshitij Thebe of CPN (UML), Khel Prasad Budhakshetri of CPN (Maoist Centre), Birendra Shrestha of Rastriya Swatantra Party, and Indra Prasad Thapa of Rastriya Prajatantra Party are campaigning door-to-door with their cadres.

Similarly, Muksang Labung from Sanghiya Loktantrik Rastriya Manch, Indra Kumar Limbu from Nepal Janamukti Party, Santosh Rai from Shram Sanskriti Party, Arun Subba from Janata Samajbadi Party, Surya Gurung from Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Narpati Paudel from Nepal Communist Party (Maoist), Kritiman Maden from Ujyalo Nepal Party, and Santabahadur Limbu from Mangal National Organization are in the villages and settlements seeking votes.

Voters here have specifically raised issues such as roads, drinking water, health services, and employment with the candidates, along with their own problems.
