Nepali Congress President Thapa Urges Cadres to Convert Trust into Votes in Sunsari

Sunsari. Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has urged party members to convert the trust placed in the Congress party into votes. Thapa made this appeal on Tuesday while addressing leaders and workers in Jhumka, Sunsari Constituency Number 2.

President Thapa stated, "You have shown trust and affection towards the Congress and me. I now request you to ensure victory for Rajeev Koirala dai from this constituency by casting your votes. I will fulfill the rest."

The President urged the leaders and workers to inform the public whether the Congress has fulfilled its promises. "Please inform the public whether the Congress has fulfilled what it promised," he said, adding, "I have earned your trust. We have fulfilled what we said; the Congress has transformed and returned."

He mentioned that due to the current election code of conduct, he could not speak extensively, but emphasized that the transformed Congress must work with a foundation for ending corruption and ensuring good governance.
