Two Arrested in Morang with Pistol, Rifle, and Communication Sets

Biratnagar. Police have taken two individuals into custody along with weapons and communication sets in Sundarharaicha, Morang. Based on a special tip-off, a police team recovered a pistol, a muzzle-loading rifle, and handsets from the house of 28-year-old Silas Limbu, a resident of Sundarharaicha Municipality-2, Beldangi.

On Sunday evening, a joint team from the Area Police Office, Belbari, and the Gachhiya Police Post raided Limbu's house. The Morang District Police Office stated that during the search, one pistol marked 'Made in USA', two handsets marked Baofeng, and a muzzle-loading rifle were found in his bedroom.

During initial police interrogation, Limbu revealed that he had obtained the weapons and handsets from 29-year-old Prem Bahadur Gurung of Sundarharaicha-3. Following this, the police also arrested Gurung from his residence.

Morang Police Spokesperson Harinandan Chaudhary informed that further investigation is underway with both arrested individuals held at the Area Police Office, Belbari.
