Rabi Lamichhane Claims Parliament Will Be Dominated by Rastriya Swatantra Party Bell Symbol Post-Election

Kathmandu. The Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has stated that the upcoming parliament after the next election will be 'Ghantimaya' (dominated by the bell symbol).

Speaking during an election campaign rally in Rupandehi on Monday, Lamichhane claimed that because RSP has fielded capable candidates, this time the parliament will be 'Ghantimaya'.

He said, 'RSP has brought 101 candidates. Capable colleagues have received the tickets. Even if the country doesn't know them, our candidates know the country. Last time, 21 MPs shook up the parliament. This time, Nepal's parliament will be 'Ghantimaya' everywhere you look. And the start of that will be with Dr. Lekh Jung Thapa.' Thapa is the RSP's direct candidate for Rupandehi 3.

Lamichhane mentioned that he did not come to Rupandehi for an election speech or to ask for votes. However, during his speech, he was asking for votes. He said, 'I have to settle accounts in this place; many streams of my sweat have flowed here. I am not worried about my accounts, but about settling the country's accounts. I have not come for an election speech today; I will come tomorrow to ask for votes, today I have come to ask for hearts.'
