Independent Candidate Withdraws in Jhapa-1, Endorses CPN Candidate

Jhapa. Khandru Karuwa, the candidate from the Nepal Janamukti Party for Jhapa Constituency-1, has announced his support for the House of Representatives candidate of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Ashesh Ghimire.

Karuwa, whose election symbol is the house, declared that he withdrew his candidacy to support CPN candidate Ghimire.

In Jhapa-1, fifteen candidates are in the electoral field, including Ramchandra Uprety of CPN-UML, Keshavraj Pandey of the Nepali Congress, Nisha Dangi of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, and Hemraj Karki of the RPP.
