Medical Entrepreneur Durga Prasai Released on Personal Bond After Arrest

Kathmandu. Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai has been released on personal bond. An official from the Cyber Bureau confirmed that the process for Prasai's release is underway.

Prasai was arrested by Nepal Police last Friday from Chhalkhel. He was accused of engaging in anti-election activities.

Prasai, who is also the coordinator of the Campaign to Save the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizens, was previously arrested from Pokhara on Magh 5 on charges of disturbing public peace. He was subsequently released on personal bond the following day, Magh 6.
