Free Health Camp in Rautahat's Katahariya Benefits Over 1,100 Patients

Rautahat. More than 1,100 patients from the area benefited from a one-day free health camp organized in Katahariya, Rautahat.

The free health camp was organized on Saturday at the auditorium of Janata Secondary School, Katahariya, through the initiative of Ratopati correspondent Sanjay Mishra and social worker Bindeshwor Yadav, in collaboration with Neurologist Dr. Shyam Babu Prasad, Director of Birgunj Neuro & General Hospital.

Chandan Kushwaha, Ward Chairman of Katahariya Ward 4 and main supporter of the camp, stated that necessary medicines were distributed after conducting various tests, including blood tests, for the 1,103 patients who attended the free camp.

Ward Chairman Kushwaha, along with mayoral candidate Nasruddin Ansari, youth leaders Yogendra Sah, Binod Sah, and Dinesh Yadav, Chief of the Health Branch of Katahariya Municipality, supported making the camp successful.

At the camp, besides Neurologist Dr. Shyam Babu, 7 specialist doctors from Birgunj Neuro & General Hospital, including specialists in Cardiology, Chest Diseases, Orthopedics, Neurology & Rheumatology, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, and Dentistry, examined the patients.

Local residents expressed happiness at receiving free treatment along with medicines from specialist doctors in their own village and demanded that the organizers continue such health camps.
