Western Disturbance Partially Affecting Nepal, Fog Expected in Terai Region

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that a Western Disturbance is currently having a partial impact on Nepal.

Due to this influence, a small number of areas in the Terai region are experiencing fog, while partial cloud cover is present in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

This afternoon, fog and mist will persist in some parts of the Terai region. Partial cloud cover will be observed in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi Province.

Tonight, fog will remain in a few locations in the Terai region. Partial cloud cover is expected in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as Gandaki Province, the Department has reported.
