National Assembly Session Begins; Key Reports and Social Media Bill on Agenda

Kathmandu. The session of the Federal Parliament's National Assembly has commenced today. The agenda for today's National Assembly meeting includes a proposal to be presented by Maya Prasad Sharma, Chairman of the Committee on Public Policy and Delegated Legislation, regarding the discussion on the 'Study Report on Policy Issues Related to National Parks by the Committee on Public Policy and Delegated Legislation, 2082'.

Similarly, the agenda includes a proposal to be presented by Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Sushila Karki to the assembly regarding the withdrawal of the 'Social Media Bill, 2081'.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Karki is scheduled to present separate proposals for discussion and passage on the 'National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081', along with the report from the Legislation Management Committee.
