Teacher Dies in Wedding Procession Bus Crash in Western Nepal

Dhangadhi. A teacher from Bajhang lost his life in a bus accident carrying a wedding procession returning from Purchaudi, Baitadi. The deceased has been identified as Bishnu Joshi, a teacher working at Mahadev Secondary School in Lim, Bajhang.

Teacher Joshi died in the accident that occurred on Thursday at Badchaur, Purchaudi Municipality-6, while returning to Bajhang with the wedding party from Baitadi. He was known at the school as a dedicated and friendly teacher.

Earlier, it was confirmed that 13 people, including Basantaraj Joshi, the Ward Secretary of Shaileshikhar Municipality-1, Darchula, died in the same accident. With the loss of life of teachers, employees, and general public in a single accident, the Bajhang and Baitadi regions are currently in deep mourning.

The passing of Teacher Joshi has deeply saddened the Mahadev Secondary School family, his relatives, and well-wishers. His students and colleagues are offering heartfelt tributes to Joshi on social media and expressing condolences to the family.
