Kathmandu Metropolitan City Issues Ultimatum to Cooperatives to Vacate Rented Premises

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued an ultimatum to various cooperative societies to vacate the houses and rooms they have rented.

The metropolis has given a 7-day ultimatum, stating that the 8 cooperatives had previously been asked to vacate the premises but failed to comply. KMC has warned that if the houses are not vacated within the stipulated time, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City will take necessary action according to the law.

The metropolis has issued the ultimatum to Asha Savings and Credit Cooperative Society, Naba Sabal Cooperative, Unified Savings and Credit Cooperative Society, Mahabauddha Savings and Credit Cooperative Society, Great Gangasagar Saving and Credit Co-operative, Suntakhal Savings and Credit Cooperative Society, Prarambhik Savings and Credit Cooperative, and Great Gangasagar Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited.
