Former PM Prachanda Highlights Cancer as a Major Challenge in Nepal, Emphasizing Pain and Fear

Kathmandu. CPN Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' stated that cancer has emerged as a challenge in Nepal due to the pain and fear associated with the disease.

Issuing a message on the occasion of World Cancer Day on Wednesday, Prachanda mentioned that cancer is a bitter experience for him as well.

'Cancer is not just a disease. It is pain, it is fear, it is the experience of confronting death,' Prachanda said. 'It is a continuous struggle. Therefore, the story of every patient fighting cancer is different, their tears are different, and their hopes are different.'
