Film Journalist Dinesh Sitoula Dies While Covering Balen Shah's Election Campaign

Kathmandu. Film journalist Dinesh Sitoula, who was covering the election campaign of Balendra Shah (Balen), the prime ministerial candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has passed away.

According to Grande Hospital, he died on Sunday at 12:45 PM. Sitoula, the former president of the Film Journalists Association, passed away at the age of 45.

Sitoula suddenly collapsed after falling unconscious while accompanying Balen's election campaign in Achham, after which he was airlifted to Kathmandu by a Nepal Army helicopter.

The body of journalist Sitoula will be kept at the Film Development Board from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM for final respects. He was also the operator of the film online portal The Cinema Times.
