Schools in Nepal's Baiteshwor Rural Municipality Announce Day of Mourning for Teacher's Passing

Dolakha. Schools in Baiteshwor Rural Municipality of Dolakha have declared a public holiday for mourning on Magh 18. The rural municipality issued a notice on Thursday stating that the decision was made to observe a day of mourning following the demise of Keshav Chaulagai, a teacher at Hanumanteshwor Secondary School.

Teacher Chaulagai passed away on Magh 15. The notice stated, 'Wishing eternal peace to the departed soul, it has been decided to grant a one-day mourning holiday in all community and institutional schools within Baiteshwor Rural Municipality on the date of 2082 Magh 18. This notice is published for the information of all concerned.'

Teacher Chaulagai entered permanent service in 2063 BS and had been continuously engaged in the teaching profession until now.
