Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Injured in Plane Crash in Baramati

Baramati. The chartered plane carrying Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of Maharashtra, crashed in Baramati. The charter plane, which took off from Mumbai around 8:45 AM on Wednesday morning, met with an accident during landing.

According to an aide close to Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister was seriously injured in this accident near the Baramati airport. He was traveling there to address a public rally in connection with the Zilla Parishad elections. It is reported that some security personnel and senior officials were also traveling with him on the plane.

Pictures and videos from the scene have been made public following this 'crash landing' during the descent at the airport. The publicly released visuals show the aircraft completely damaged, and a large crowd has gathered at the site.

According to the news agency ANI, details regarding the cause of the plane crash and the extent of the damage are currently being gathered. So far, no official bulletin regarding his health condition has been released by the government or the hospital. 

However, according to information provided by eyewitnesses and aides, Pawar's condition is critical.
