Couple Murdered in Okhaldhunga Following Robbery

Kathmandu. A couple has been murdered following a robbery in Chishankhugadhi, Okhaldhunga.

Chief District Officer Mekh Bahadur Magrati informed that Chandra Bikram Rai and Chandramaya Rai, locals of Bohore in Chishankhugadhi Rural Municipality-6, were murdered.

According to him, a team including the Okhaldhunga District Police Chief was dispatched to the site immediately after receiving information about the incident. Chief District Officer Magrati stated that locals reported the murder likely occurred after a robbery.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Madan KC of the District Police Office, Okhaldhunga, confirmed that he headed towards the scene as soon as the incident was reported. Two other individuals were previously murdered in the same rural municipality.
