Government Decides to Extend Investigation Commission's Term by 20 Days

Kathmandu. The government has extended the term of the investigation commission formed to thoroughly investigate and submit a report on the physical and human losses incurred during the demonstrations on Bhadra 23 and 24, 2082, by 20 days. The decision was made during the cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Thursday.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, government spokesperson and Home Minister, Om Prakash Aryal, stated that the government accepted a grant assistance equivalent to two million US dollars to be provided by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank for the preparation of the Siddhartha Highway Butwal-Pokhara road section improvement project. The government has appointed Om Prakash Aryal as the Home Minister of the Government of Nepal. – News Agency Nepal
