RSS staffer Shakya bereaved of father

Kathmandu, Dec 14: Senior Assistant Computer Operator at the central office of the National News Agency (RSS) in Kathmandu, Reshma Shakya, has been bereaved of her father.

Shakya's father, Jwarman Shakya, passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 72. He suddenly fell down at his house at local Sohrakhutte on December 12 and was rushed to the hospital upon seeing blood oozing out from his ear.

The family has stated that he died during treatment at KMC Hospital, Sinamangal. He will be cremated at Shobhabhagawati this morning.

Shakya is survived by a wife, a son and two daughters.
