Prasain to remain in custody for four days
Kathmandu. The Kathmandu District Administration Office granted permission to keep controversial medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain in custody for four days.
Police on Monday night arrested Prasain from his residence in Bhaktapur, accusing him of disrupting public peace. Prasain was taken to the administration office after being presented at the District Attorney's Office. Prasain claimed that he was not aware of for what charge he was arrested.
Prasain has launched a campaign to restore the monarchy and a Hindu nation. His supporters protested against his arrest and chanted slogans in front of the administration office.
