Nepse gains 9.78 points to close at 2550 points
The Nepse index has increased 9.78 points to close at 2550.36 points in the second trading day of this week. Total transaction amounts of the total 335 scrips traded were over Rs 3.9 billion while the total market capitalization reached Rs 4,282,117.52 million.
Of the total 13 sub-indices, 11 have surged with the highest increase of 1.50 percent in development bank followed by 1.07 percent in hydropower. Four scrips—Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited, Sagar Distillery Limited, Bungal Hydro Limited and Jhapa Energy--hit positive circuits whereas Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited hit negative circuit. Bandipur price increased Rs 41.70 to Rs 458.80 while Sagar price surged Rs 56.50 to Rs 622.20. Similarly, Bungal gained Rs 48.60 to Rs 535.60 and Jhapa increased Rs 31.10 to Rs 342.30. Bhugol price lost Rs 64.40 to Rs 580.
