According to sources, he was put on ventilator support after experiencing breathing difficulties. A team of doctors is continuously monitoring his health. Doctors have stated that the next seventy-two hours will be very critical for the actor.

Actress and Dharmendra's wife, Hema Malini, shared a post on Instagram wishing for his speedy recovery. She wrote that Dharmendra is in the hospital and that doctors are taking care of him. She mentioned that the family is with him and requested everyone to pray for his quick recovery.

While concern about his condition was growing, Sunny Deol's team released a statement. The statement said that these are just rumors as usual and that Dharmendra's condition is improving.
