Youth should be involved in productive sector: Minister KC
Kathmandu - Newly appointed Minister for Youth and Sports Rajendra Kumar KC has said economic consolidation of the country was possible only with the involvement of the youths in the productive sector.
Assuming his office today, Minister KC said the youths have left the country because they have not been linked with production. He also pledged to carry out his daily administrative activities by rising above politics.
Minister KC was elected to the constituent assembly from Kathmandu constituency no. 10.
Meanwhile, assuming her office today, Minister for Population and Environment Mithila Chaudhary emphasized on the need to preserve the ecology for a healthy life.
She also stressed on building an environment-friendly society by minimizing pollution caused by dust and smoke as of late in the country. Minister Chaudhary directed the Ministry staff to work with a focus on serving the people.
Chaudhary was elected to the Constituent Assembly from the CPN-United party on a proportional representation (PR) seat.
