Russian Drone Strike Kills Child in Kyiv
A Russian drone attack on Kyiv last night has resulted in the deaths of at least two people. Local officials confirmed that among those killed was a one-year-old child. The head of Kyiv's military administration, Timur Tkachenko, stated that the child's body was recovered from the rubble on Sunday.
Details of the Attack and Damage
The other person reported killed was a young woman. The Russian forces targeted the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, which is the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The attack also caused damage to three separate infrastructure facilities. Air raid alerts had been active across all regions of the country prior to the strike.
Attack Coincides with Russian Warning
This attack occurred while Russian President Vladimir Putin was issuing a warning to Western nations. He cautioned them against continuing their support for Ukraine. Despite these warnings, the Russian military continues its offensive operations against Ukrainian targets.
