Mumbai Police Increases Security for Comedian Kapil Sharma

Recent Threats and Attacks

Indian comedian Kapil Sharma has faced a difficult time recently. His café in Canada was shot at twice, and he received open threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group. Due to these incidents, Mumbai Police have decided to increase his security.

Second Shooting Incident in Canada

The decision to enhance security came after the second shooting at Kapil’s café in Canada. The first attack was claimed by Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Ladi, while the second was claimed by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. On August 7, gangster Goldy Dhillon publicly took responsibility for the attack and threatened Kapil on social media.

Gangster’s Threatening Message

Goldy Dhillon posted on social media, saying, “Jai Shri Ram, Sat Shri Akal. Today, Goldy Dhillon takes responsibility for the shooting at Kapil Sharma’s café. We called him but got no response. If he doesn’t reply, we will take action against him in Mumbai.”

Growing Security Concerns

These threats and attacks have raised serious concerns about Kapil’s safety, prompting quick action from Mumbai authorities. A few days before the second attack, Surrey Police officials and Mayor Khaja Khan had visited Kapil’s café, which Kapil shared on social media.

Further Threats to Bollywood

After the shooting, Lawrence Bishnoi’s associate, Harry Baksar, released an audio note threatening the entire film industry. He warned that anyone working with Salman Khan would face consequences, stating that even the smallest association with the actor would not be tolerated.

The situation remains tense as authorities continue to monitor the threats and ensure Kapil Sharma’s safety.
