A collision occurred this morning between a train and a car near Thapa Chowk in Brahmand, Janakpurdhham Sub-Metropolitan City-9. The incident took place around 8:30 AM when a car (Bagmati Province 01-025CH 1290) heading towards Janakpur from Pipradi Station in Mahottari collided with a Nepal Railways train at a crossing area.

Eyewitness Accounts and Damage

Local witnesses reported a loud crash upon impact. Three passengers in the car sustained minor injuries, while the vehicle suffered significant damage. District Police Spokesperson Barun Bahadur Singh confirmed the details, adding that the injured received immediate medical attention.
