Meanwhile, Madhesh and Lumbini provinces may only receive light to moderate rainfall with possible thunderstorms in isolated locations. The weather department further stated that generally cloudy conditions will prevail across the country throughout Sunday night, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms expected in some hilly areas of Koshi and Sudurpaschim, as well as a few places in the Tarai region. The forecast also indicates a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two locations within Lumbini and Sudurpaschim's hilly areas during the night. Authorities have advised residents in affected regions to remain cautious, stay updated on weather warnings, and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy precipitation, particularly in landslide-prone hilly areas.
